Formerly qualified Kesari Kishore Sharan (IAS) of Palamu district, was having heartfelt wish that Jyoti Prakash ji should become the President of Bihar Sahitya Sammelan and by the grace of God, this becomes possible too.
Late Jyoti Prakash ji was rich in prodigious and versatile talent. He has not only promoted literature in his life but also brought joy to the whole society by elevating music and giving light to it. In the course of his literary journey, he has also written two novels, Jhilmil and Do Rasta. Both these novels were published by 1938. Both these novels reflects the mentality of children.
He has also published a collection of stories which are mainly named as Bulbul, Dil Ki Deep Se Dhoop Aur Chhaya. Apart from this, many of his stories are still scattered in the newspapers and magazines on that time. He has also written Navneet Gyanodaya and became the main writer of magazines like Kadambini. He has written stories in true sense on every aspect. Through his story Bulbul, the closure of the Indian mentality arising out of the crisis of independence and nationalism has been expressed which was not only contemporary but also gives a contract of continuity. There are more than 100 stories written by him which were published 3 decades ago in famous newspapers and magazines like Navneet, Gyanodaya, Veena, Avantika, Samaj, Anuvrata, Pratibha, etc.
Late Jyoti Prakash ji, rich in leadership talent, proved through stories and fiction that teenagers can be shown the right path through stories. It is true that he has played a huge role in preparing teenage readers through his writings. He has also done the work of editing the Bal Vinod magazine published from Moradabad since 1934. Through this magazine, he understood the child's mind and also prepared a different background of literary structure. Today when we look at the literary works of him we get a glimpse of humanity's wish for a beautiful and happy life and world peace. His unique composition "Dil Ki Gehrai Se" since 1954 not only created a stir but also influenced Maha Pandit Rahul Sanskriti, Dr. Amarnath, Dr. Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Shri Shiv Puran Sahay, national poet Dinkar, novelist Vrindavan Lal Verma, famous thinker Manmat Nath Gupta, famous critic Shri Ram Rangey Raghav did not stop writing anything in his praise. Late Jyoti Prakash ji, a determined personality, rich in talent, experience, contemplation, celebration and generosity in every situation is admirable and unforgettable. He always believed that enthusiasm is the father of celebration and generosity is the mother of enthusiasm. Late Jyoti Prakash ji, who was the backbone of the society, passed away on 29th May 1996. In the end, I always pray to God that Babuji's blessings remain with all of us forever. May future generations continue to be guided by his thoughts like a lighthouse.
